I have the following excuses:
1. Such an insane thing happened to our family at the beginning of the year that it has taken us a while to reconcile it. Hate to leave that nugget out there for the 10 of you who have not heard the story yet, but trust me it is a story best told in person. Just know we sort of laugh about it now, but at the time, it was not funny at all.
2. My job responsibilities increased 3 fold. This is very good for my career - not so good for my blog.
3. I was planning 2 vacations - I know a total hardship, but thanks to the Internet I can spend hours researching hotels, weather patterns, flights.
So let's get back at it.
